In the heart of Beautiful Port Moody, BC
With support from City Staff, in 2019 the Moody Centre TOD Area Master Planning Group (“The Master Planning Group”) began a process to engage the community and received input on the future of the Moody Centre Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Area. The preliminary master plan concept envisions a complete renewal of the area to deliver a number of land uses and public amenities for the Port Moody community.
In 2023, further refinement of the master plan concept was undertaken in support of Phase 1 rezoning applications and in response to City comments on the OCP Amendment Application (2020). In order to advance more detailed site work to deliver on the overall vision, including land uses and amenities set out in the OCP and the Master Plan application, we are excited to share that some TOD members are now submitting individual rezoning applications. It has always been the intention that members of the Master Planning Group would proceed with individual rezoning and development permit applications for their parcels in order to realize the community vision for this important neighbourhood.
